In 1979, Danny Molloy established our firm with a simple vision: to provide exceptional accounting services to Ballarat and beyond. Graeme Orr came on board in 1983, bringing expertise in financial planning and business advisory, followed by Noel Ronan in 1986. Together, they laid the foundation for what became Molloy, Orr & Ronan.
For over two decades, this formidable partnership served the region with dedication, moving to our current central location at Dana and Dawson Streets in 1987. As client needs evolved, we welcomed new partners, expanded our presence beyond Ballarat, and extended our services to include financial planning, audit, and finance broking. With this evolution came a new name—MOR Accountants.
Today, MOR is a team of eight partners and more than 50 staff, making us one of the region's most comprehensive financial services firms. More than 90% of our new clients come through referrals—testament to the trust we've earned over 45 years.
In April 2025, we farewelled our longtime partner Graeme Orr after 42 years of dedicated service. Graeme played a central role in shaping the firm's direction, mentoring generations of staff and nurturing enduring relationships with clients. His wisdom, generosity, and deep care for people remain a lasting part of who we are.
